Machine care

CPAP Machine care is an integral part of therapy, by keeping up with a regular maintenance schedule for your CPAP machine you will be ensuring that the machine stays in good working order and is kept in good hygiene.

Humidification 

Remove humidifier chamber, rinse and change water daily, air dry out of direct sunlight and refill with water in the evening before bed.

Weekly, clean the humidifier chamber with water and vinegar (please check your machine instructions for correct water:vinegar ratios) air dry out of direct sunlight.

Hose

Run water:vinegar solution (see your machine maintenance instructions for correct ratios) through the hose once weekly, rinse out and allow to air dry away from direct sunlight

Filter

The filter at the back of the machine to be checked weekly. Remove dust from the filter to prevent it entering the machine motor. Replace filter as required.
